All-purpose flour-1 1/2 cup
vanilla essence-1 teaspoon
edible food color-4 drops
grated pistachios as per the need
ghee-1 cup
cashews-16
sugar-2 cup
How to prepare Maida Barfi:
- Step 1) To start with the delicious recipe, take a non-stick vessel & begin heating the ghee with moderate flame. Include cashews & continue frying the mixture until it becomes golden brown in color.
- Step 2) When the cashews appear to be fried, drop all-purpose flour/maida & food color into it. Stir the vessel properly. When cooked, switch off the flame.
- Step 3) Now, take another vessel & add water, vanilla essence & sugar into it. Bring the vessel for the boiling while stirring it constantly. When boiled, switch off the flame.
- Step 4) Now, add sugar syrup to the maida vessel. Continue stirring it sometimes. When the mixture starts to thicken, pour the maida mixture in the greased tray.
- Step 5) When it is warm, make little square like pieces utilizing a knife & decorate it with the pistachios & serve.
