Ingredients for Black Forest Rasmalai Cake:

  • 2 cup Flour

  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder

  • 2 tsp Baking soda

  • 200 grams of Butter

  • 1/2 cup Sugar (powdered)

  • 400-gram Condensed milk

  • 200 gram Curd (creamy yogurt)

  • 1 cup Milk

  • 2 tsp Vanilla essence

  • For cream – Ingredients for Black Forest Rasmalai Cake cream:
  • 2 cup Whipping cream

  • 5 tbsp Sugar

  • 1 ½ tsp Vanilla essence

Preparation of Black Forest Rasmalai Cake:

  • Grease & dust 2 baking tins & make it ready.
  • Sieve cocoa, baking soda & flour together.
  • Beat powdered sugar & butter until creamy. For this drop some yogurt & beat until becomes creamy & light.
  • Fold the sieved components alternating with condensed milk & milk. Pour it into the greased-dusted tins & bake it in the already-heated oven at 180 degrees for like twenty-five to thirty mins. See it post twenty-five mins by putting a toothpick in the middle of the cake. If it is clean, then consider the cake is done. Detach it from the oven & let it cool in the tin for around 10 mins.
  • Detach the cake from the tin & cool it on a wire rack. Slice it into halves using a thread and put it beside it.

  • Cool a beater & deep glass bowl in the freezer for like 60 minutes.
  • Drop the whipping cream into it & beat properly until becomes creamy & light.

Put another layer of cake over it & again sprinkle slight milk of rasmalai over it. Spread the whipped cream on the cake & decorate it with cherries & chocolate shavings.
