kcalAn Indian sweet that is everyone’s all-time favorite and is also known as ‘Motichoor ke ladoo’. Always found at homes during Diwali, Pujas, or any other occasions. Even this ladoo is also made during Indian weddings. Boondi is the small, round shaped droplets made from either besan (gram flour) or maida (refined flour). So, here’s the recipe of delightful Boondi ke ladoo for the next festival or puja.
For the batter of Boondi:
500 grams besan (Gram flour)
Water as required
For sugar syrup
750 grams sugar
3 1/2 cups water
Other ingredients:
10-12 drops orange colour
Soaked saffron flakes
50 grams cashew nuts, chopped
50 grams raisins
10 peeled and crushed cardamoms (elaichi)
750 grams ghee for frying
Boondi fryer with medium-sized holes
